The Warriors have more talent, it's true. Who cares. The most talented team doesn't win every year.

 

Talk is pretty... The Warriors stole home court from the Rockets and did what they needed to do by winning a game here...Until we do it to them by either winning in game 3, 4 or stunning the world winning both...the Rockets are gonna be dogged by the media. Also...the Warriors are the champs...we havent done anything to warrant being favored on a national scale. I believe that the Rockets really need to ball out on game 3...That is the key game in Oakland. Wanna put a real scare...show that you are capable of replicating the success we just had... I do hate the fact that we have such a long lay off between game 2 to 3...more days to game plan for the Warriors...and limited time to adjust if the Rockets get shelled in game 3.

 

Rockets attacked the Warriors from the get go and the Warriors were never able to get there feet under them. Keep the same pressure next game. Beat them to the punch.

 

If they didn’t give maximum effort that’s on them. Still, the rockets made a statement by not just winning, but by blowing them the hell out. In game 1, they clearly played more focused than we did. We flipped the situation.

I appreciate Rachel Nichols’ monologues just because she clearly works super hard on it, but it’s kind of like watching the class nerd recite in class. No charisma or gravitas at all IMO

Exactly. Why would the Warriors want to come back to Houston? There is no reason why they would be complacent. They know the Rockets can take a game from them in Oracle. Every excuse in the book has to be made for Golden State. Curry trying his best to shoot down that he's not injured but they're still running with that too

Saw this earlier today, and wondered what his Game 2 prediction was... because EVERY "reason" he gave AFTER the game was known BEFORE the game.

 

This will be the narrative until the Warriors are dead and buried. And that may not even be enough to change the narrative.
