    The one thing I got with the rockets of ‘95 is that at that time it was all about the game. The era of news media and ESPN has put so much unneeded drama that it has surpassed the actual drama of competition. Hence we don’t have the fan base that we do. We’re content in watching highlights and interviews to reconstruct the actual games. The competition has been playing out on First take and other talking heads out there. It’s literally overhyped and the actual product gets diluted.

    Magical...i used hum that to put myself to sleep as a kid lol! The current rockets logo has no basketball incorporated in it. If you just saw the logo would you even know it was a basketball team? Bring back the old logo!!!!!!!!!!!

    I'm pretty sure I heard em using the song again this year but it wasn't for the player intros. Maybe they're saving it for the finals.

    Can you imagine if all these hot take shows existed in 1994 and 1995?

    Down 2-0 to Phoenix after losing 18, 20 point leads at home.
    Down 3-2 to New York.
    Down 2-1 to Utah.
    Down 3-1 to Phoenix.
    Spurs even series 2-2 after Rockets lose both at home.

    This one in particular...because i think most of Houston was convinced they couldn't win...and then they go to PHX and they're down like 12 or so at half?

    AND THEN MY NAMESAKE HAPPENED!!! :) MadMax stole the show...and turned it around. God bless that man.

    He erased Charlie Thomas and Steve Patterson from Rockets history as well as the logo and colors and now the championships are in Florida.
