High scoring teams generally consists of a collective unit of good to great passers. When looking at the Rox (comparing them based on their positions), I can honestly say that besides Yao (whom I will deem as average for a Center), the rest are horrific. When I say horrific, I am not just basing their skills on this year but generally their careers. Yao- Center- C+ Cato- PF- D Jackson- D Cat- F+ Francis- D- Moochie- D Mo Tay- F Thus, I really see this as a very difficult problem to fix. We will essentially have to trade multiple players in order to truly improve this. On a side note, I think it is quite absurd for us to continue hoping that the passing will improve. These players are not young rookies anymore. They have ingrained these bad skills for years and years now. I was fooled once by this team (during pre-seasona nd early on) but I will not be fooled again.
i have to debate a point you made. I belive yao is not no average center. He cant show his ability because he never gets the ball at the right timing and this is due mainliy b/c of our guards. And it is only his second year. And yup the rockets have no good passers.
What are you talking about Yao is a big problem too, its like he dosn't want to get the ball or somthing. True its like 75% of the guards falt but you cant just throw it all on them, Yao has a BIG problem too by not beeing agressive and being wayyyy to passive. I just wish you would critisize every1 including Yao! & yes Yao probably is no average center but he has yet to prove that to everyone.
Someone call Braggs and tell him the Rockets need him. I saw this guy make 2 great passes in the Raptors game. One was to Yao. It was a lob pass which made Braggs look a skilled QB compared to the other passers on this team.
What do you mean he has yet to prove that to anyone? Go look at the stats. That alone will "prove" it you! Your remarks criticizing this thread is uncalled for! You don't like this thread then don't add your opinions. Just give it one star.
JJ looks like garbage with the Rockets. Maybe you should ask him why he actually played well with the Kings.
