If Morey didn't have to give Pat up for CP3, he would been a good backup, provided if he remained fit. Having said that, I would trade Bev as part of a package for Chris without any hesitation.

I was over Bev while he was still a Rocket. Since he’s been gone I only think of him when we play the Clippers or someone else brings him up.

Love Patrick Beverley. Would I snatch him back, if he were available? In an instant. Would I trade him and the others again for Chris Paul? Yep, that too.

I don't like that he asked to be traded from my beloved Rockets. I took it personal, and I hope the Clips make the playoffs so we can drive a stake into his heart.

Appreciation for his hustle and the ability to develop a 3 point shot was there but they guy was nothing more then a solid role player. Never going to win a title with him playing a significant role.

mauri sure know how to find hidden gems where no other teams care to look. i bet opposing teams' pgs used to mentally prepare for bev, dude was intimidating and a beesch to have defending you.

he overrates himself, but who doesn't? i was disappoint tho when he said he asked for a trade.

Luv his enforcing nature but he has become too prone to injuries.

Watching that video was unbearable. I love Pat, but never recall him being so inarticulate, unless he has a stutter? Was he on pain killers when he made the call? Really bizarre. I don't think he would have a place on this team and what they are doing this year though with CP3 in the guard rotation, I would rather have EG in the backup PG role since they need scoring in that unit. Either way I don't think he will get a front office job after he's done playing after hearing that call. He thinks Lebron is a lock for finals because "history always repeats itself", so the Warriors will win the championship forever I guess.
