Hmm... A. The Patriots are always in playoff contention because they make moves like trading for a player who was about to be cut and swap late round draft picks B. They have perhaps the best coach and best quarterback of all time. Hmm, which to choose, which to choose.
So you’re saying 5 D league level players doesn’t equal championship!? I though BoB had this Patriots way down.
but they are agressive... Im not panicking yet.. I hope we hear some news soon.. Meeting with TE, Meeting with Honey Badger ( Maybe sign EJ Gaines) another OL.. I dunno something besides signing our own players back on another note ESPN Beat Write for Texans (Sarah) Put out an article stating that Texans might go with Griffin as the # 1 TE (LOL)
Yeah. Wrong time to be saying this. The Patriots just lost their starting LT and CB. They've made about the same number of moves as the Texans.
QB Blake Bortles(re-signed) WR Donte Moncrief WR Marqise Lee(re-signed) TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins TE Niles Paul TE Ben Koyack(re-signed) G Andrew Norwell CB D.J. Hayden S Cody Davis S Don Carey Lost: RB Chris Ivory WR Allen Robinson WR Arrelious Benn TE Mychal Rivera G Patrick Omameh LB Paul Posluszny CB Aaron Colvin
Quality, yes, but highest paid OL in league and highest paid Guard? I would have loved Solder even at the unreasonable cost, just so we could, maybe, protect Watson. Not crying over Norwell at that price. Guards are easier, not easy, but easier to find in the draft and one of the guys we signed might pan out. Once those two were gone the rest are real long shots. Need to save your buckshot for the next flight.
Wait, you're telling me a team could afford to "overpay" for Norwell AND get players like ASJ and Hayden?
