We have the same weakness as the Warriors. When we play against physical dominant bigs, we have trouble (Cousins/Embiid). Boogie sacrificed himself to break our undefeated when CP3/Harden/Cap plays streak so we shouldn't have problems with them in the 1st round. Capela is better than any of the Warriors centers though, so if he plays like he did last night, we're going to have a huge advantage in the paint.
This team would run them out of the gym. They would drag Yao out the perimeter every play. Kyle Lowry wasn't all star Kyle Lowry yet, and T-Mac was a corpse. I know we all love the 09 team because of how hard they played, but this squad is on a different level
LMAO Capela is much better fit in MDA system but let's not be ridiculous if comparing one vs. one in skill level. Yao dominated the younger, stronger and much more explosive Dwight. And with ease.
yeah, yao would dominate capela in 1-on-1 but basketball is a team game. in this day and age, i would much rather take capela over yao.

1. Yao would get destroyed defensively with the barrage of Harden/CP3 to Capela PnR 2. We will just burn that 08-09 team from beyond the arc, which is the whole reason why the NBA has evolved towards small ball and efficiency. If maintaining a formidable inside presence was such a big deal, then why did we let Dwight go? Why doesn't AD-Cousins pair win multiple championships? How could the Warriors become so dominant?
