I don't know how many minutes Johnson will play for us, but his value will be in the locker room. Morey probably saw how veteran locker room guys helped the Astros win their title.

    Joe Johnson = Carlos Beltran

Wow awesome!! Have to say, didn't think it would happen. Great pick up since Joe has performed in the play-offs and Green could disappear in the play-offs.

Allows MDA to let Ariza rehab 100% for playoffs. I'd hoped Troy Williams would've done that.

Ben said on yesterday's podcast he's been shooting 36% from 3 since coming back from injury mid December. Got me pumped for this move.

Nope...Codman didn't do that. The red it is a safari/bbs bug. "It" followed by a period for some reason creates a hyperlink that the bbs renders as red with underscore.

See my feedback thread discussing it.

Love love love the pickup. This move is all about the playoffs. Johnson has tremendous experience and isn’t afraid of the big moment. His influence will be huge when things get gritty in the playoffs.

    Freakin Morey man.

I hope Warriors or OKC dont get Belineli now.

    Would hate that.

JJ can play backup SF while Ariza is out . Hamstring injuries can linger so we could use the depth.

Markel can be cut for JJ right? Am I missing something? I'd a summer it relates to the two way contracts?

The question now is with all this insane depth....

Will JJ or Green ever even crack the rotation when this squad is healthy? Or will MDA change his style and HEAVILY reduce everybody's minutes? I really hope its the later, but have a hard time seeing it with the way MDA has been.

This roster is now 12 deep with players deserving minutes nightly.

    My ideal rotation minute ration.
    Harden - 32
    Paul - 28
    Capela - 26
    Gordon - 26
    Ariza - 24
    Moute - 20
    Anderson - 20
    Tucker - 18
    Green - 18
    Johnson - 14
    Nene/Wright - 14

    ='s 240 minutes.

If MDA would run a rotation like that our guys would have so much more energy. Only 3 players on that list are under 30, this team could really use it.... but again I have a feeling JJ and GG just get cut completely out of the rotation and everybody's minutes stay at business as usual.
