Yeah it's been discussed to its deepest depths. Hence the reason we're trying to rid ourselves of Private Ryan's contract and further improve the team. We can't waste this year with CP3 and Harden. Of course we don't want Chris to leave, but if it takes luring Lebron to keep him happy, then cool bruh. Chris probably won't leave judging by how adamant he was that the Rockets acquired his bird rights instead of signing him. That's why we had to give up so much in that trade. The Clippers took advantage of us and rightfully so. But yeah He's not leaving fam. He's talking to Bron.

Joe Johnson Is legit. Great insurance, still has superstar power in him, pretty clutch shooter.

Yeah I don’t see this happening. Lebron can change his mind 10,000 times or tell people what he wants them to believe. Not saying anything about cyberx here, just that I don’t see JJ coming here and Lebron is still too far away to get our hopes up about.

I was just thinking about this too. CP and PG are also FA's this off season. They can create their own super team in LA. There would likely be less resistance to get there vs Houston - Houston would have to move several players and salaries around. LA is on the books for only $51mil to start next season. All 3 could take discounts to team up.

    Hopefully that's not the case.

Joe Johnson and Favors? How could we get both ?

Anderson and what?! I would love favors. Sacrifice Ariza for it. :/

They could, but CP3 WANTED to come here, FORCED his way here in fact. With minimal gelling time, CP3 is now playing on a team that is the clear cut 2nd best in the league. I really doubt he will be leaving. LBJ on the other hand COULD go to LA depending on how the whole PG13 deal plays out, but the situation in Houston is MUCH, MUCH BETTER than in LA where they have a completely unproven coach and he would have to waste a big chunk of the season learning how to play with PG13 and whoever else joins. In Houston, he just has to camp out at the perimeter until we need him because Harden or CP3 is not bringing it.

Him and someone like Lopez or Tyson would be great additions for the playoffs

would love to get Favors and JJ for Ryno. If that happened we really would be on the Warriors' level and can beat them.

    Of course they could.

The point we make for ourselves is already having an established 3rd player to compliment those two in, (hopefully) soon to be MVP, James Harden.

Plus a GM that will continue to push the envelope in signing the best team to surround them with tough, experienced, veterans... what else could you ask for. D'Antoni being COY and their coach for team USA doesn't hurt either.

JJ would be great for our team, capable defender (honestly still good) with ability to hit clutch shots and be counted on to carry the scoring load on some occasions.

"Joe Johnson and Derrick Favors blah blah blah, chemistry, expiring contracts, team guy, this that and the other thing, have a nice weekend.

"Oh, yeah, and LeBron James wants Houston. Peace out."

Anyway, for the latter to occur, you might have to swing a trade through Utah that sends those expirings (or some other team with expirings) to Cleveland, and maybe include EGO to Cleveland for salary matching. Otherwise, how would you carve the cap space?

And most teams are reluctant at best to admit their star is leaving and will hold on for dear life until the last second: "We'll convince him to stay or we'll at least work out a sign-and-trade that nets us something, then cast him as the villain in the media."

Maybe the rights to Hartenstein or whatever his name is, maybe some other Euro stash dudes, who knows. Ariza won't go, though. CP3 wanted to play with him AND he's a singing sensation to boot:

    "TELL ME WHY!"

I think he is 100% leaving Cleveland. I see LA as a possible emergency backup but the Ball situation may kill that before it ever begins. If the Rockets can't get their **** together he won't wait around forever and will have his escape plan ready.
