Most of the Rockets games are played when I am working overtime in the office. It seems that as long as I don't peep into the live stats and concentrate on my work, the Rockets will win. So that is what I am going to do for the remaining games.

To support a team by not following their games live? Believe me, it is hard. I hate to do it.

How about you guys? What funny things have you been doing lately to secretly help the Rockets?

By the way, although I just started to post today, I have been following C.C. for 2.5 years. I never posted because I thought I would leave this site once Olajuwon retires, but reading the BBS at least twice a day for 2 years has converted me to a Rockets/Francis fan.

During our win streak in mid-February, I'd eat a Filet-o-Fish meal and a Double Cheeseburger from McDonalds every game night (yes, I am a fat ass) until they lost.

I didn't have one until, you guessed it, last night.

    Makes me rabid.

    testing my signature...

I was watching the 95 Championship video. After 2 games in the conference final, David Robinson said, "Man, I don't know how to say this with a straight face; I thought I defended him pretty well. This guy just played as well as anybody I have seen in a long time." I guess he was compelled to tell the truth although he looked so embarassed in the post game news conference.

When the Rockets fall behind early, I start huge bashing threads. They usually come back when I overreact. I stopped doing it during the west coast trip, and look what happened. A three game losing streak.

I change the channel during the opposing team's starting line-up.

I was out of town on vacation last week and the Rockets lost every game I missed. Last night I sat in my lucky chair with my lucky Rockets cap on and we won. It was the best game of the year because we embarrassed the Jazzholes. I plan on being in the same spot with the same lucky hat on for all the remaining games so, we should win the rest of them.

Are you the same KD I see coming into the CC.net chat? If so... welcome!

I've decided not to suit up anymore and try to get in the game. The one time I did get in, I missed the ball and was promptly arrested for running onto the court. I think my absence will help the Rockets concentrate more.
