Terrible idea .... If you trade Anderson you have to get a guy in return that can play the 4 spot AND shoot .... Biyombo doesn't replace that shooting. As much as we would al like to be rid of Anderson and his albatross contract , this team has to have a guy with similar skills or the offense goes to pieces - like when Anderson cant hit the broad side of a barn with a shotgun at point blank range. It really allows teams to defend Harden differently without that shooter. That's a big reason why Luc is missed so much .... he could eat up those minutes when Ryno is chucking bricks .... and be a threat to both shoot the 3 ball and attack the rim. (Utah gave the league the blueprint to defend this offense , go back and watch that game .... everyone since has copied their approach. The Rockets , particularly Harden haven't made the adjustment which has led to an increase in turnovers / transition buckets for opponents.) The C spot , assuming both Capela & Nene are healthy is fine .... the PF spot on the other hand is hot and cold healthy or not. Don't see how Morey upgrades the position either as not even a rebuilding team wants to take that contract for 2.5 more years. Maybe next year someone bites for a #1 pick when the deal is only a year + .... We're stuck with Ryno for the time being. As for this year , I think Morey will be limited to smaller trades or players who get bought out close to the deadline.
Not this season. If we find ourselves in a jam next summer he could be a good undervalued type but he's not worth giving up flexibility for.
Do y’all even look at contracts before suggesting some of these dudes? Biyombo still has 2/34 left on his deal after this year. He has 1 of the worst contracts in the league...

Biyombo is actually a good defender and very good rebounder. Worst contract is probably between Noah and Parsons, the first can't even play, the other gets more money and he would be better if not playing lol.
Good suggestion!!! The Rockets are getting killed inside, there is no if, ands or buts about it. Capela is to thin and Nene is too old. Although Capela's contract is up next yr, he's still 2-3 yrs away from reaching his peak. Nerlens Noel is cheaper and may be easier to acquire, coming off injury and more importantly Mavs have no clue how to use him.
