Now that he's become a decent 3 point shooter he is perfect depth for the Rockets. Can play 1,2,3, really good defensively. Add him and a bought out Chandler and we can weather injuries like no other team in the league.
we ain’t got sh*t to offer them unless u want to give them a 1st I could see them wanting Ariza because he’s an expiring and they’d have his Bird Rights which isn’t the case with Reke, but we all know that’s not happening, nor would it make sense for us to do so. Would they trade him for a couple of 2nd’s? I doubt it. I guess it could be possible. He theoretically shouldn’t have much value since he’s basically a half season rental with no Bird Rights, but he’s been playing extremely well. Will Memphis be able to keep him moving forward?
I don't think we have a real shot of getting him if you wanna keep the current roster intact, however, getting Chandler would be sweet.
When did Evans become good defensively? (and even assuming he's average, we probably need more than that to improve our team defense. We need a new center, a new third guard, and several session of Harden with a psychiatrist.)
Tyreke Evans would be a great pickup for us. I would definitely feel better with another playmaker coming off the bench for the playoffs.
