    All I know is that it isn't option 3.

    Imagine the first player you have that requires a double team is a post player like Hakeem.

    Now let's add another player that commands a double team ... If he also plays in the post , you definitely haven't created any spacing .

    But there are a lot of scenarios in which 1 and 2 are actually the same hahaha

    It just depends on the players man.

    and players that space the floor.

    Since we like to play with pace, I would think floor spacing. Only in a halfcourt offense is when a double team is a effective. You can't really double a team who shoots in 7 seconds or less
