    titans didnt come out to play tonight really upsetting....im a big titans fan still and they needed this win to take the division lead. huge game next week. i bet a lot of people lost a lot of money on tonights game.

    Damn... wish I had seen this thread earlier. I know a lot of bookies/pro sports bettors and apparently Jets +3.5 was the 'play of the year' for them.

    Good rule of thumb for newbie sports bettors: Don't bet against a Monday Night Football home team who is picked as an underdog against the spread.

    Duncan ran into/over a ref the last game trying to set a screen. It looked accidental, but he got t'd up for it, and now suspended for one game - this.

    Well I guess Duncan being out doesnt matter much as you missed the over on the Pacers game. Only 171 pts in that one.

    I am so mad. I didn't know Duncan was suspended and not heard anything about it, actually it was not even in the ESPN preview for the game.

    Missing the Pacers/Phoenix over would not have been a big problem, but I bet big money on the combination Utah win/Spurs win +4.

    This sucks! Arrrrrrrrrgh.

    I should not have read this thread.
    I should not have started the other controversial thread here in the hangout.
    I should not have spent money betting on sports games.

    This should have been a give away. I didn't know about it either until Cat told me in chat, but I suspected something was up when I saw you got a completly different spread than what other quoted in the thread. I know - different bookie - different spread. But the differences usually isnt this big - and bookies are usually the first to change their spreads when you get a development around the teams in question.

    (give away in the sense that something was up - not that it had to be Duncan)
