It appears that one of the biggest weaknesses of this team is the excessive turnovers, game in, game out. Turnovers not only hand over a chance to score for the other team, it minimizes the shot opportunities we get. It's particularly bad when we usually shoot a poor % shot anyway. So the last thing we need is to give up our shot opportunities. We need MORE shots to score points, especially when the % is usually low.
SO...........what can we do to minimize TO's as a team, so that we don't rank as one of the most TO prone teams in the league?
One thing that comes to my mind is the fact that we ALSO are very poor in fast break points.
I think that if we were to push the ball up the court faster than what we have been doing, it would help in both aspects.
The more we hold on to the ball, walk with it, and dribble it, then the more time we have to turn the ball over. We need to move the ball down the court QUICKLY. This will give us more time on the shot clock by the time we get down the court, so we aren't as pressured by time to get a shot off. Pressure is likely to increase the TO chance.
The longer we take to get the ball up the court, the longer the defense has to get ready for us.
The ROX are the one's who need to keep the pressure up, not the other way around, as it appears to be going.

    Thoughts?

increased turnovers conclude that are guards are still dribbling the ball way too much

Well it depends on how the TO's happen. In one game most of Steve's TO's were from offensive fouls, and not dribbling. In other games Yao has turned the ball over even more than Steve, and then some TO's have come from the guards or others making stupid passes and not dribbling. I don't think that dribbling is the biggest cause of TO's this year.

So, why are we so turnover prone? Dribbling? Sometimes. Bad passes? Sometimes. Team chemistry? Maybe. Lack of intelligence? Maybe. Lack of diversity in the offense? Pressure?
    Court vision?
Maybe all the above and more?

I agree. It seems like every possible reason for TO's we have. I will wait and see what happens as the year progresses. I hope that time will improve things.
