CF been asking for a 4th guard the past week. and it's not like morey couldn't foresee an injury to CP3 or EGO, it happens every year. i really don't understand what goes on in this guy's head. we could have had a backup already with the team and ready for action. he pulls the same crap basically every year, most recently leaving us with no playable bigs once nene went down.

 

They need him healthy for the Drew League.

 

I'd like to see them trade for TJ McConnell if they can before they start going for a burnout or a non-point guard point guard like Canaan who is just a spot up shooter really.

If everyones healthy, McConnell is likely 3rd string in Philly, and I think they know he's likely gone after this year anyways. If they can get maybe some stash prospects, or maybe they want to take a look at Nanu. Not saying send the 2020 1st or anything, but he's worth a 2nd if they have one to spare as well.

 

And yeah.... I agree. This is proof BBrown is only on the team because of relationships. The guy can shoot it seems, but not sure what the point of him being on the roster is if he can't play the PG good enough to beat out Pierre Jackson the other night.

 

Jameer Nelson is the clear best option. Hopefully he chooses us.

Canaan would be like having Bobby Brown part 2.

 

Nelson, Williams, Barbosa, Jennings, Ellis seem like the top 5 available vets to me, i'm sure there are some young guys / euros who could help too.

Briante Webber is interesting, he plays Beverley like defense, had a insane steal average in college, dude just can't shoot to save his life.

 

Would love to have Jameer, brings that steady veteran leadership. Jackson isn't going to cut it against the better teams.

Morey can be pretty bad at securing veterans in case of injury. Fans scream for months and Morey ‘s always late to the party..

 

homey just got dumped by an average chick and now worried he might not make it past a month with the hottie in need. if he's the type who prefers steady longterm relationship with a fat girl back east then maybe he's just not ready for the bigtime.
