Is it just me or does John Farrell always look like he has a ripe avocado permanently rammed up his keister?
The worst part is the constant, "Aaron Judge is the face of baseball today." I've lost count of how many times I've heard a TV announcer slobber over Judge with that line. Like all of a sudden, they've all abandoned the Bryce Harper/Mike Trout bandwagon.
Could not be more pumped for Peacock getting this start. The guy had to basically pitch lights out the entire season with no real lulls to receive this start, and that's exactly what he did. it's well-earned and deserved, no matter the outcome. I have my fair share of criticisms of Hinch, but really happy he's doing the right thing here. Go get em Brad.
Yes, he was looking good until the 7th inning when the wheels fell off. Nonetheless, ace pitchers are taking a beating this postseason unlike anything I've seen in at least my lifetime. A pitcher is lucky if he can make 3 innings without surrendering 5 runs. So many early dismissals.
WHich makes what Verlander and Keuchel did all the more impressive. And the Red Sox lineup aren't exactly a walk in the park either
