    Last gasp for Steve Miller in the 80's got a ton of MTV rotation.



    I kept holding off on this, thinking someone would post it. MTV loved the hell out of this video.



    While I'm on the Jamacan/Caribian thing...



    Freeze Frame is another video MTV played to death. Centerfold was their better song, but this got more airplay for whatever reason.



    I don't really like Billy Joel as the 80's progressed but Glass Houses was the first record I ever bought, and he had more of an edge earlier on.



    IMO, the first half of the 80's was so much cooler than the 2nd half.

    more Stones . . . early 80s Stones videos were a bit less imaginative than later on. Still this one got a lot of air time

    man, you guys are pulling songs out of the deep vault that I haven't heard in years and years and years.

    the Moody Blues at that point shared a similar sound to that of ELO, which I've always had a soft spot for
