maybe he won't play at all until it's full game minutes, to ensure that his preseason averages don't get watered down. preseason mvp is on the line

As much as people talk about weights affecting your shot (it doesn't if you shoot every day), I wonder if wearing a hoodie every day messes with your shooting when you take it off.

 

I know this game means absolutely nothing and will be boring, but I can't wait to watch it.

if we dominate and win easy it will mean nothing. if we don't dominate and end up losing bspn blowhards will point to what an important indickator this mammoth matchup was!

 

if a wearing a hoodie effects your shot when you take it off, you don't belong in the NBA

 

Calling it how it is homie. Try doing this during the regular season and see how it works out for you.

 

I feel like it would be smarter for him to train with the same peripheral vision and freedom of movement that he has in a game. I agree it won't have a big effect though.

Curious to see how OKC does though. One of the rockets problems past few years imo has been Ariza's limited ability to put the ball on the floor. If Harden draws all the weakside pressure and skips the ball across -- it's Ariza and Capella, vs Ariza's recovering defender and Capella's guy. For some reason, if a 3 doesn't go up, this isn't a winning matchup. Way too often a TO or a gangly off balance layup from Ariza, who needs to listen to clyde and throw it down...

With OKC, they are sort of the opposite of that, with quite a few guys who can convert that play. If they play together, they could really open up the court on offense in a way I wish we could.

I wonder if CP3/Harden will give us a dual pick and roll attack that makes it so Ariza can just 3 and D.

 

I'm more worried about the irrational posting that will go on if we lose to OKC, even if it just preseason. People are still an emotional wreck after the failed melo trade.

 

Let's get the (pre) season started!!!!!

 

i think as long as ryno plays well and makes his open 3's people will stay patient even if we're not winning games at a high clip. on the hand though...

i know it's just preseason, but I REALLY hope we whoop OKC's azzes tonite. I hope we send a message to Carmelo (and the MEDIA) that we're still better than OKC, and we're still the biggest threat to GS
