    Why Portland. Go to CLE. Play with Bron, Love, Thomas for a year in the easy East, then get on the Banana Boat where every. Portland makes less sense.

    Melo has no leverage. Knicks are fine with keeping Melo and letting him come off the books in 7 months. Knicks do not want Anderson. They DO want Harkless though. So if Melo wants out of Knicks, Portland is an option available to him.

    Except he wouldn't come off the books in 7 months he would opt in and collect another 26-28 mil from the Knicks because he will not get that kind of pay day from another team sort of like Wade did with the Bulls.

    The point of the Rox was to play with CP3. Portland does not have a "Banana". Meaning No Melo.

    Bron, Melo, CP3 and Dwade can all be free agents next year. The can all sign where ever. Bron isn't leaving during the season.
