I'll pay. Hard as hell to find right now. Also, We'll be tearing down drywall in Linkwood. I'll be catering it with Fajitas and beer if anyone feels like helping on Monday. And it's for my mom if that helps you know that you're not actually helping me.
I do, my man. I think we are good from what I've heard. But you are more than welcome by and grab beer & fajitas. DM me if you'd like to join us. It'll be around Stella Link & Braeswood.
HOUSTON STRONG Was able to get everything by reaching out today, including Reeko Htown willing to come by. No joke: I just asked today and was flooded with help. I'll like to think what comes around, etc. I helped my friend tear his stuff on Wednesday. We are a flat, bayou ridden swampland, there is nothing pretty about the landscape. Reason I stay? The people! I've lived many places and Houston is the most amazing place to find good people. Thank you Houstonians!
HOUSTON STRONG Was able to get everything by reaching out today. No joke: I just asked today and was flooded with help. I'll like to think what comes around, etc. I helped my friend tear his stuff on Wednesday. At the end of the day we live in a flat, bayou ridden swampland; something the Allen Brothers sold to a bunch of gullible folks 179 years ago. There is nothing pretty about the landscape. I have so many laughable stories about how this place came to be, but it did, and it keeps thriving. We are the only major City to Never lose population in a Census. My reasoning? The people. I've lived many places and Houston is the most amazing place to find good people. You don't know good people until you've known a Houstonian. Thank you Houstonians!
email me if you need some tools or people no show and it seems too much like work. I have spare bags and tools and can lend a hand. I live just around the corner from that location.
Had a great turnout today. We knocked out a ton of stuff. Fellow CF member Reeko-Htown was a Godsend. So amazed at how you find awesome people when this stuff happens. We had so much beer left over. Y'all missed out!
Oh, and CBS Sports came to film us today, so if anyone knows how to find their footage, that'd be awesome. It is supposed to air tomorrow, according to the camera guy.
They came to film you work on your mom's house? What is the sports connection there? Did she play professional women's baseball in the 40's?
I have zero idea why CBS sports was there. We were too busy working for me to talk to them. I don't even think I was filmed.
The camera guy said they were following the Rice football team. I'd imagine the footage won't be shown until Saturday.
