• Meeting team in Baltimore Sunday, will evaluate and could start Fri or Sat in Detroit

Moran was on the Matt Thomas show 7/21. Dude can curse.

 

Cheekbone is better than orbital socket (that's when you start worrying about vision). Deshields, for example, broke his cheekbone a few years ago.

 

So facial means cheek bone?

 

We definitely dont want a Dickie Thon version 2 type story. That was very sad and would be hard to bear a second time.

Stanton a couple of years ago comes to mind as well. He should recover just fine. Really sucks for a guy that had really rebounded this year.

Luhnow on TBS just said (well 30 mins ago, I'm behind on the game), that Correa's surgery went well and they're looking at a rehab assignment in early September and a return to the big club at the middle of the month.

 

Read somewhere that there is nothing wrong with his vision.

 

Will Harris got the start at BC today, threw 15 pitches, faced 3 batters and K'd 2 of them in his 1 inning.

 

Completely random: Even though it was a rehab appearance that only lasted one inning, this was the first time that Harris has started a game as a pro.

 

I assumed so. Career relievers are few and far between in MLB.
