Melo wont opt out. He loves his $$ and won't pass it up unless he can play with a banana boat buddy, and no team with a banana boat buddy on it can pay him next summer.

 

TA could be ta-ta for my taste and that's from a guy who LIKES Three-Za. While his locker room presence is apparently very consequential and thus he's unavailable, I'd have to see the entirety of the deal before saying I'd ciao EG and/or CC.

But - - Tuck and ThePrince and Black make me wonder if TA and/or Cap could be kaput from TheToyShop?!!

 

I can see Ariza being traded before Capela. Capela is integral for our offense and the PnR as well as being the only defensive presence we have in the interior.

 

Begley hardly ever says anything new or particularly interesting. I have no idea why ESPN is always trotting this dude out on TV so that he can just repeat some sentences from 1 of Woj's articles.

 

I agree that it would move things along but I still hold hope that we can get Melo while holding on to those 3.

Someone should tell Lowe that we traded Ariza in a 4 team trade...

4-team Carmelo trade I assume.

 

He meant no 4 team trade existed to get us melo as was rumored

 

'We' cannot 'assume' any of the so-called trade maybes; supposedly this, supposedly that. There will be a trade of Melo to RocketLand, I believe, but until I see who/what comes/goes I'll restrain my enthusiasm.

If a deal is, in fact, struck, I believe the creativity required will result from DM the GM's initiative.

 

Wouldn't even think about trading Capela or Gordon, and while I would consider Ariza, you'd piss of Chris Paul and Harden by doing that.
