Is the relationship with Ryno salvageable if we attain Melo via buyout?

I think he's a professional and would swallow his pride. I'm sure he knows Melo and Paul are great friends, he's been in the NBA a while and moved around. It's not a slight to Anderson if you consider that we can get a hall of famer for him. That's somewhat of a compliment.

2. Ryan is not a star. Rockets are not ruining his legacy by sending him to purgatory.

3. Ryan is getting paid a generous 60m over the next 3 years. I'm sure he won't lose much sleep over it.

Ryan would be probably the #7 or #8 guy off the bench. I think he accepts his role and keeps cashing them nasty big checks. On a positive side, that 2nd team would be filthy--James/CP3 with Gordon, Tuck or Luc, Ryan and Nene--offense & defense gone wild!
