I'm seeing a lot of posts about Qi but what about Hartenstein?

I'd like to see Chinanu in more pick and rolls. These guards are going too much one on one.

He's apparently playing like he's a 19 year old kid playing against grown men.

    Agreed

Unfortunately that's not in the nature of his culture.

Yao had the same problem early on.

Not to mention he's playing in summer league were he is the only guy playing who is forsure going to be on the roster this year.

But I would like to see game run more pick and pop with him and also give him the ball and let him go to work and try and score in ISO or see if he can playmake.

So far I like Zhou Qi, Cam Oliver, and Shawn Long. They actually move and play like NBA players...

He looks bad at just about everything, but that's to be expected given that he just turned 12 years old.

Can tell that Taylor has improved since last year. I hope he's good enough to be our 4th guard, but we'd probably lean towards someone that's more of a 2 than a 1.

Well, I think we all agree Zhou's length is impressive and he isn't as stick-like as thought. The dude looks like he has the positioning and aggression to be a player in the pick and roll. For a kid playing his first game in a new country, this is impressive.

    Oliver looks good too.
Shaun long had some nice plays too i thought.
Mcallum.. can a player be cut from summer league?

I wouldn't blame him for that. Cultural differences in playstyle, and he could be a little shy. I think he'll fit in fine with more time.

He ain't shy. But he looks slow and lost right now.... which is understandable being his first NBA action

He has a wider build than I thought he had, so that's good. He's a center.

Imo he's not going to be an NBA player. He doesn't have the length and leaping ability like Capela so he won't ever be that kind of lob threat or rim protector. (Capela is actually quite rare in the department)

I would much rather give Qi the 5th big man spot behind Capela/nene/Anderson whoever 3rd center we bring in.

Damn, I couldn't find a pen fast enough to jot down the WaterWubble phone number. I need that like last weekend.

Did anyone get the phone number.

Wow! I like China Joe. Very fluid athlete for that size. Runs the floor like a SF. I like Shawn Long as well - big body with good big man skills.
