    The signing is pretty decent value these days (look at what Allen Crabbe is making--basically the same one-dimensional shooter, just younger). They couldn't have spent the $7M any other way, since they're way over the cap, and their MLE is of the smaller, tax-payer's variety (around $5.5M). Korver is part of their no-defense-shooter brigade, but he's better than nothing.
