I am trying to find out information on NBATV. I live in Australia and am sick of the lack of NBA coverage. They only show 2 games a week, and its always the same teams that are on.

What i would like to know is, is NBATV exlcusive to the US, or can it be obtained anywhere in the world. I haven't been able to really get any info on this and am trying to find a way of getting more NBA coverage because i am sick of golf and cricket (thats all they're showing down here).

No NBATV or League Pass in Oz yet. A US-only thing for now...

That's one of the reasons why I haven't moved back yet.

Yes, one can only hope and dream. i wonder why when foxtel and optus merged that they didnt show more nba. i remember both foxtel and optus showing two different games each per week. it would have been nice to get 4 games a week.

Do you know when Foxtel may be going digital? If that is the case and a large number of channels become available, maybe we should petition to get more nba. I know of some people who wanted spanish soccer live on espn and put thru their request, and the spanish league is now on espn.....

I'm guessing you're referring to New England NSW, and not New England as in Massachusetts area?

not sure exactly when remember reading a while back an article in the australian about how they were going to fund it, think the foxtel site has a press release section... try there

a petition would be great, so we could at least get both games of the double headers on the saturday would be a good start and then maybe petition to get rid of those two stupid espn international commentators we get on the wednesday games.

I have Adelphia cable -- they don't offer NBA TV in my area this year. :(
