who's the announcer? Is Todd out for continuation of the family issues? Tell this guy to stop pronouncing it "eye-okie". Now that I know what it's supposed to be, it's hard to hear it wrong

Should've recognized. I often don't hear on MLB.tv--they usually switch away for those parts

Alex Bregman is 23 and from Albuquerque, home of the greatest modern chemist yet his walkup song is "Wanna be a balla", that's just winning baseball right there.

Nice start for Morton. Not going to blame him for that almost melt down devo cleaned up. Carlitos should have had 2 consecutive outs but funny hops by that little stitched ball...it happens.

To answer the first part, this was a scheduled series off for Kalas. He will be back in NYC

Another W. But the stench of the Rockets offensive sets in OT is ruining everything.

The Astros won so it's time to talk about what they did wrong, right?

I think that's how things have been around here lately?

The error isn't good, but glad 2 runs were unearned. Good for our stats, plus the thought of, "they can't score unless we gift them".

Morton is doing well overall. So great to have 95+ mph from a 3/4 starter.

Good seeing Los, Beltran, and Luke get off. And don't look now... Feliz is sporting a 2.08 ERA.

Does everyone else really enjoy Kalas? I do. To me, he is a very knowledgeable guy, but also the perfect compliment to Blummer's sometimes overdone humor.

And Gurriel needs to start hitting again. Dude is spiraling.

ya. I think it is a bit unrealistic to expect yuli to continue at his previous pace. As long as he's decent at the plate and continues his excellent defense, he's worth the $

He's had a rough week, that's all. No reason to hit the panic button just yet.

If were talking about Gurriel, his recent woes go further back than the last 2 games. He is 5/33 in the last 10 days or so. But I completely agree that theirs nothing to be concerned about, yet.

On a broader note, has anyone realized that the lowest BA on the team is above .250 ? What? No flurry of Mendoza line players on the team at present? :)
