What a difference maker when he gets unleashed! Can't believe OKC got him (and McDermatitis) for so little. Don't the Rocket have enough minor assets to swing this kind of deal? Maybe it's just D'Antoni being willing to play at most 1 guy who doesn't shoot 3s at any time on the court.
Wrong forum! (Figured I'd be first since posters love to jump on stupid stuff like this.) Seriously though. He'd be a great small ball 5 in our system. Would love him here at the right price. Great defensive player that creates havoc. And he's so smart offensively. If he had three-point range he'd have a max contract and it would be fun to watch him track Draymond. Was thinking the same thing last night. Why couldn't we have swung a deal for those two?
You tell us since you claim to know everything. Let me guess? Because GM Harden didn't want them here? And yes this belongs in the DISH
Here's the cold hard truth child. Harden wanted Lou. And he wanted to part with Ennis and McDaniels. He was neutral about Brewer but wanted Lou over him. He was ok with moving Dekker too but that didn't materialize. He did not want to move anybody else and we would've had to move somebody to get those guys.
I'd say great GMing by Harden Anus is a scrub, McDonalds didn't do much here. Lou is an upgrade over Corey Brewer. I'm glad Harden is ok moving Dekker too who is scrubbish. Harden for EOY!
Didn't @Codman say Taj was the target, but Chicago didn't bite or OKC stole him? Morey wanted Taj but clutchfans.net was clamoring for Ibaka. If Morey gets blasted for the players he coveted that turned out to be busts, does he also get credit for the players he coveted that turn out to be serviceable?
I'm growing to hate Gibson because he scored 20 on us last night. I understand OP probably didn't mean any harm, but this is bad timing haha
I remember @Codman talking about a potential deal with the Bulls which basically ended when OKC came in willing to trade Payne...looks like Gar wanted Beverley from us and Morey wasn't willing to trade him (obviously). But i guess the Rockets could've still got Taj and Doug with 1st, Brewer and minor assets like KJ and/or 2nd...in the end i guess the Bulls are just dumb and they wanted Payne more.
Should have taught our trade assets to dance. Bulls obviously values Payne's dancing skills, which are the only skills he seems to have.
