    [ESPN / Marc Stein - 1/20/2017]
The most substantive trade proposal generating buzz among the various team officials, scouts and agents assembled this week at the Hershey Centre: Orlando, according to league sources, recently tried to engage Miami on a Goran Dragic deal in which the Magic were said to be offering center Nikola Vucevic and a future first-round pick.

‎The Heat, of course, already have a well-compensated starting center in Hassan Whiteside and, sources say, had no interest in Orlando's pitch. The South Beachers continue to leave the impression that they're resistant to surrendering Dragic before the Feb. 23 trade deadline.
    ----- -----
A player who is sure to move between now and the trade deadline?

    Denver's Jusuf Nurkic.

Sources say that the Nuggets, having acknowledged that Nikola Jokic and Nurkic didn't click as a pairing, are actively working to find Nurkic a new home that would give him the chance he deserves to be a front-line center.
    ----- -----
Given Gay's long-term unavailability and Sacramento's well-known hopes of convincing DeMarcus Cousins to sign for the long term, ‎two wings have emerged as the most likely Kings to be dealt:

Ben McLemore first and foremost, followed by Arron Afflalo
    .
    ----- -----
The Clippers have offered a future second-round pick for Suns forward P.J. Tucker -- who is said to have a not-so-secret admirer in Doc Rivers -- but sources say Phoenix is holding out for a first-rounder in exchange for the rugged defensive specialist.

Tucker and out-of-favor guard Brandon Knight are widely regarded as the most "gettable" Suns. Coach Earl Watson announced this week that veteran center Tyson Chandler is "not going anywhere."

    I second that.

I was watching Nurkic last night vs the Spurs. I wish Nurkic could lose about 20 pounds to possibly
    become more mobile.

That's too much imo, McLemore is going to get paid this summer and they don't want to pay him, he also didn't show he's that good in 4 years, this would be a all in move that personally i don't like...no way i'd trade a 1st pick in this scenario, but that's just me.

Nurkic is a really interesting target, he still needs to work on his game (and also on his body like @Jatman20 suggested), but he has a pretty big potential, and another year of rookie scale contract...i'm not sure he's a great fit here, but eh, he has talent and a big body...can turn out being a steal for the team that is going to get him. I wonder if our 1st and their 2nd would be enough...how many teams are looking for a young "old school" center as today?

I don't know, as today everyone gets paid if you didn't notice...and if Meeks got 6x3 a couple of years ago i think McLemore MAY get that x2, the fact that we don't know if someone is willin to pay him is another reason to stay away, the last thing i want is to have someone throwing a 40x4 to McLemore after 2 days into free agency forcing us to match that early.

And btw, if he sucks why you want to trade a 1st round pick for him in the first place?

Maybe Isaiah "Smile Bright, Don't-Go-Under-the-Basket-Right-Now" Thomas is getting a new GM job? He'd have the hook-up.

The first is for Koufos and taking Brewer. I consider McDaniels and McLemore even swaps. If someone wants to spend crazy money on McLemore you let him walk

You know i'm already dreaming about this:

    Capela
    Griffin
    George
    Harden
    Beverley

    Nenè
    Trez
    Dekker
    Gordon
    Llull

...as our main roster in 2018 :D

even though i would try to keep Trevor around if possible, having him off the bench ala Iguodala would be perfect

Oh ok, that's more understandable. Even though i wouldn't trade a 1st for Koufos, he's an ok player but not worth a 1st imo.

I'd love to get Courtney Lee, Dudley, or PJ Tucker. I'm guessing that Morey stands pat, but the Rockets desperately need an upgrade over Brewer.

LOL at the Clippers offering a late 2nd round pick for PJ Tucker. Of course they would. I would have to believe that the Suns could get more for Tucker than that asset. I don't think anyone will offer a 1st, but a high 2nd makes sense. As an example, the Rockets have Denver's and Portland's 2nd round picks in the 2017 draft.
