    The Houston Rockets are off to a great start to the season, and are looking to have the same impact off the court. Help them save lives this holiday season by supporting their blood drive Dec. 8 through 12. The drive begins tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Toyota Center, and will continue at every Neighborhood Donor Center from Friday until its conclusion.

    All who successfully donate and credit the Houston Rockets will receive a commemorative Rockets blood drive T-shirt and a raffle entry for a Rockets prize pack that includes a pair of tickets to a future game.     Be sure to give if you can, especially as the holiday season sees an uptick in ******* drunk drivers.

    With that said, I've been donating four times a year for well over a decade... and the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center's automated calls are annoying as hell.
