What made "Linsanity" what it was was the winning. No one would have cared if Lin was putting up the numbers he did in that stretch if the Knicks weren't winning. So for Linsanity to be "back", he's got to help the Nets win...numbers be damned...

He got better last year because he was playing more SG, which benefited him. His TO never did get better, they just don't look as bad. :)

He got better in other areas though, especially left hand, defense and speed control. He only had gear 1 and gear 7 before, now there are more in between.

Checked out some of his preseason videos, his shooting form is much better, release is much quicker and smoother. And the shooting numbers showed. Hope he keeps up.

Not even Westbrook can take that group to the playoffs though. Otherwise he is on historical MVP mode.

Linsanity was more about playing elite defense.

Finally! Someone had to say it. It's YOU to say it. More people should be talking about this on this thread.

On the other hand, I didn't find anything entertaining, clever or brilliant in DG's comment at all.

Same. His only breakout defensively seemed to be last year.

I am not sure you can expect a 2:1 Assist:Turnover ratio (per pg 46). He's got none of the safety valves he had last year and he seems to need to have a sloppy handle to play aggressive. I like his chance to have a massive scoring year but the rest of his game might falter because it's just not a well put together roster. And if teams are smart and watched him last year without a secondary ball handler on the court, they should trap him receiving the ball in-bounds. He was a mess in a trap without ball security helpers last year.
