Honestly I will be surprised if we don't see Watt decline this year... I mean not just the age but I don't think people realize how much was wrong with him Injury wise last year. He had 5 muscles reattached, if he comes back the same player I would be surprised.

 

I hate how they're letting him rush back this early and just don't believe he's 100%. Back surgery is no joke and I'd feel much safer with him returning in week 3 or 4 just to be safe.

On the other hand, one could argue he should be even better this year because he played injured a lot last year.

 

I'm so pumped. Probably the most excited I've ever been for an opener.

Of course there will be a time where Watt starts to decline. Maybe it happens this year. Your words have presumed he already is, that was the issue.

 

If there's limited chance for re-injury, and he's physically healed/ready.... what's the issue? Also, not all back surgeries (or human beings) are equal.

Presuming that it may take 1-2 games to shake the rust off, I'd rather he get some reps in before the competition starts to get tougher.

First time I've ever felt Texans were underrated going in to the season. I always felt we were overhyped by the media.

I think people are writing off the rookie WR revamp this off season.

They aren't your normal WR.

 

People are writing us off big time. There's a very few analysts that are counting us to win the division. The rest believe the narrative put forth by the media. They think Osweiler is a nothing that will lead us nowhere.

The Texans are about to surprise some people. I love it.
