How defense is played and reffed is the biggest diference between NBA and FIBA, even more for bigs. I think he will play better once he adjusts. Remember Scola, he was horrible on defense, but he was asked to score so his defense was quite forgiven. Andersen has to play good defense to earn minutes and shots.

real tough to lose on that call but as patty mills said "no excuses, we needed a stop" david played his best game ever for the country like a lot of others but it was just little things that got in the way. add a nice core of simmons, maker, exum, barstow to the core of mills/delly/ingles and we can really shake up the non american standings of basketball
Nope, we got absolutely shafted my friend. We DID get a stop. Ingles was so poor, I don't understand what the big deal is about him. Hesitant, slow footed, couldn't shoot from outside throughout the Olympics. He was a liability.

With how rough and physical the game was, for that call to be given at the end was just disappointing. Aussies still had a chance but they messed it up with a Mchale play
i didn't think the play calls post timeout all tourney were bad at all, in fact they were a highpoint of our offence. i think spain just defended it really well
