Damn the QB situation REALLY sucks for the Niners, they've got Blane Gabbert who sucks, Kap who sucks AND is dealing with a "dead arm" in camp, they just lost Thad to a torn ACL, and I don't even remember who the 4th guy is.

Jeff Driskel. He's an interesting prospect.

Ah yeah, I'd like him more if his name was Driskill.

It just goes to show you that you see a LOT more from the all-22 footage or from the stands than you do on a normal TV broadcast. Props to those who caught this while the game was happening.

Knowing this, it just shows that Brock made the right read and made a good throw.

I wonder if Fuller beat them on that same play at practice. Thus the reason why the secondary was cheating over top.

Like Bobbythegreat stated, " right read and good throw.

Mr. Clutch lol you are tripping bud.

Did this situation change once Savage entered?

Yeah, it did. They were less worried about him getting hit and when Savage was in it was against backups.

People always seem to say "against backups", when he was playing "with backups" too.

I don't care who starts as long as they're good. Just trying to be fair.

Sure, but 3/5ths of the starting O line in the game were "backups".....it's a bit different playing with backups against backups than it is playing with backups against starters. It just wasn't worth it risking him being hit so they didn't even attempt any long or intermediate passes. I'm sure that'll change in the next game against the Saints because they suck and the starting center should be back.

There's just no way Savage will start. Osweiler has to be a complete dumpster file like Mallet for that to happen.

As long as he puts up a 70 QBRating he won't be benched. Too big an investment.

Your boy Hoyer proved that even a dumpster fire wouldn't be enough to change the starting QB in preseason.

    Okay, since you're sure.

So, Brock will have to go spring training Giles for Savage to start. Considering the contracts, seems about right.

It was later against the OTHER team's backups, the opposing talent got less. Where it wasb b/u vs b/u instead of b/u vs starters.
