"We" don't get $hit! 15 players and a handful of coaches and managers get a ring. We get our d!cks in our hands and get to pretend something special happened to us. That's the cold, hard, truth.
When management realizes that getting paulwtfk and Jontro on the roster is a top priority. Then utilizing DD's mind to lead us as a head coach.
But really, who cares about the ring? I thought this was just about "players going out there and have fun." That's what I keep hearing in interviews.
When we get new ownership. Dude bought the team and ruined it. If it wasn't already a built champion when he bought it, we'd have no rings
I don't see it happening for several years. The roster has too many holes, and GS has too much firepower.
whenever the **** we daam well please! which isnt anytime soon. let the pathetic warriors have their fun. eventually they'll petition the nba for them to use two basketballs exclusively for their games and they'll get it, only to lose in the finals to the ****in sixers of all teams.
We're at least 3 yrs away, and probably more if we don't stop chasing the next big thing instead of building something real. We need to go after young talent so we can contend 3yrs from now. Not sign guys like Ryan Anderson to $20 mil a year contracts that will hurt us 3yrs from now.
Three words. This.....is....Houston. If you've been here more than a minute you may have noticed that rings are as common here as sightings of Halley's Comet
I know this is ancient history, but once upon a time, a guy named Dirk won as the only superstar. Probably slightly after 2010 B.C
It will now take more than another star to compete with Golden State. The only other team in that mix is currently Cleveland. So, the answer is: not until those two teams break up. That is a few years out, probably, for Golden State. Then, that just puts things back on an even playing field, so probably a least several more years after that. Rebuilding is hard, and Rockets need to do it almost from scratch. You have to build the core team back, then a few years of incremental improvements after that...and remember every other team in the league is doing the same thing. So, it's time consuming and difficult w/o a team like Golden State out there. Tell me, in your scenario...what puts the Rockets over the current Golden State team, with All Stars at 4 of the five starting positions, and 2 of them MVP's?
