I agree except I'd really like my pool to finally heat up. Takes a week of warn temps and no rain to get it back above 80 and tolerable...and only one night in the 50's to drop it back to the low 70's.
So is Brenham now officially considered a lake? A friend of mines B&B has water to the second story. They're having to be airlifted out.
Yes my mother and grandmother both live there. I'm not too worried about their houses they are both on raised ground. But the water is rising from what they both told me
They had quite a bit of rain. 16.62" of rain fallen there within 12 hours. Roughly same as in Cypress last month. Unofficially, 18".
heavy rains in montgomery county right now and heading se toward houston. lake conroe is busting at it seams, it's crazy!
it feels like it hasnt stopped raining since prince died. coincidence? yeah right b**** go on thinking that
This rain is no joke in the Woodlands. Around noon, river levels looked about 6-8 feet lower than the highest I saw them when things were crazy back in April. I expect we might top those levels by this evening. It has been absolutely pouring for the better part of four hours and the radar doesn't look promising.
Last night was crazy and this round hasn't been much better. I'm safe where we are but I'm concerned for my friend who lives close to Spring Creek off of Rayford. He got 2' in the last one 5 weeks ago. When I spoke to him this morning, they expected the creek to rise but not get in the house...that was before this afternoon's rain. I was actually doing a presentation to about 50 engineers off of Rayford when this round started. About 30 phones went off at the same time with the emergency alert.
Raining hard in Copperfield area. Some light flooding already in the neighborhood streets. Not a good sign if we're to expect rain throughout the night.
Not supposed to let up until dusk either. Not a pleasant Friday evening. Time for me to grab a couple Bota boxes and get comfortable.
Weather crew in Houston is a joke. I have to drive thru eldridge and pass bear creek which is ****ed from last flood.

Driving from Htown to Ausinish was fun today, 290 & 71 were both closed in places. Took 10 to Luling, stopped at Bucees, stopped at Kreutz.
