Everytime we went to the games last year, my wife payed more attention to what clutch was doing, more than she watched the games. I noticed a lot of people watch what he does. I don't know if that means they like clutch.. but he's got their attention.

BTW.. Who cares about his uniform. Summer is over.. this season won't start soon enough.

I think Clutch looks great(other than not having a belt line).

During the offseason Les could rent Clutch to Ohio State.
    But I like that color.

They must be having a really hard time with the colors on the unis. If you compare the compare the home uni, road uni, and Clutch uni pics, that's 3 different shades of red.

The road uni pic red SUCKS!!!(washed-out, pinkish hue)

The home uni red looks nice.(darker red)

But I think I like the shade of red on the Clutch uni the best.(brighter red)
The silver looks good against it.

Can someone post all 3 side by side. Thanks

Who knocked up Clutch??? I didnt hear any annoucements....... I'll bet it was that damn road trip to Phoenix last year. I hear the Gorilla is awfully flirtatious!

At least we can find peace knowing that Clutch is female.

Well, I actually interviewed Clutch for my sports management class. The main reason he isn't a rocket, is because they didn't want a big blue penis to be running around the court. Les is actually the one that chose a bear as the character. Then "Clutch" designed the uniform from there.

Can anyone please explain to me why we have a bear as a mascot or whatever he is? A side show for the kiddies or what?

Could anyone even imagine if there were a huge blue Rocket with teeth running around the court during time outs?? That would look so stupid it's beyond comprehension...

Crap, the Suns have a friggin' GORILLA as their mascot, and you don't see anybody over there b****ing!

I used to hate Clutch, but let's face it, a Rocket doesn't exactly translate well to mascots. I guess it really WAS the uniform after all...

Look at the bright side, at least we don't have this thing as a mascot...

One bright point: If for some reason we ever decide to sign Stanley Roberts again, he could just borrow Clutch's uniform -- they're pretty much the same size.

    Hey Bottle rocket

    Read this:
I wouldn't want a giant blue dildo as my mascot either. And I can't think of any space-related animals, other than Laika, the first dog in space. But she was a Soviet, and screw the communists, man.

That's why we changed the color scheme:

(red blobs are supposed to be big cartoony shoes)

Check it out, another holdover from the glorious pajama years, updated for the Ming Dynasty! Sharky can't miss! :D

I really don't care much for Clutch cause i'm not into it and all. But I see adults all into him more than the kids.

I agree with Tim. I am an older kid (31), and I enjoy Clutch and his antidotes. I love it when someone gets cake-faced. He is also great with children. For all of you Clutch-Haters, You also have Turbo to cheer. We have Clutch, Turbo, the Power Dancers and most of all - The Rockets!!!!! This is our time to Be Big!!!

That was "Eclipse," Turbo's real-life practice buddy at that time. They just dressed him up in a bluish-style suit and sometimes they would do tandem stunts. It was actually pretty sweet.

But as far as Turbo's future with the organization, I think I remember reading on hoopsworld.com or nypost.com a few weeks ago that Turbo was gonna sign a deal with SpikeTV's "Slamball" league to be a player/coach.

I advise against believing that second paragraph, it was meant for entertainment purposes only;)
