Beasley and T Jones are black holes.

No rim protection and no rebounding. We'd give up 120 points a game I would think.

It's not a single sport like tennis or golf.

Individual excellence can only take you so far. Those other 4 count.

    I'd rather go with:

    Capela
    D-Mo
    Beasley
    Bev
    Harden

That would be an interesting team, though D-Mo will have trouble guarding PF's util he recovers more.

Those number will go down drastically once teams have had the chance to scout this new Beasley.

Beasley can't play SF, no matter how much you guys want him.

I thought this too, but you really can't game plan much more against midrange iso plays. Use a better defender maybe, but I think it's more likely that he cools off than for defenses to "figure him out".

The issue is - teams have tried to figure him out and it just hasn't happened. He has versatility to his game - switching hands mid air - switching hands on layups and basically getting what he wants when he wants it.

dude is a stud and kudos to Morey to grabbing him while he could.

The future is bright. Once we get our defense back to where it should be - no team can beat us in 7 games.

I really hope you are right cause I would love to see this same man come the playoffs. He's playing with a lot of energy and confidence right now. Great pickup by Morey so far that's for sure.

Let's hope he stays hot! His creativity is something we have been lacking on this team lately which is crazy considering we have James Harden.

Starting lineup should be (sans howard)

    Capela
    DMO
    Ariza
    Harden
    Beverley

Beasley should be first guy off the bench for DMO. Then DMO Should come in for Capela. Harrell should play the minutes Capela is right now (10ish).

but we have Howard so that kind of ruins everything.

What is this based on? 2-3 games since he's arrived? My guess that he will have the same averages he had before he went to China. Make no mistake, that's still good.

Why are you acting like he has never performed fairly well at a high level before he went to China? Talent and skill has NEVER, EVER been a problem with Beas. It has ALWAYS been a maturity issue and from all accounts, he has matured immensely since going to China, which is basically the healthy young NBA player's version of "rock bottom". Beas is easily a top 20 talent in the NBA when his head is screwed on right. If you are the type who is only looking at stats and didn't actually ever watch him play, you would know this. That said, people who are clamoring that Beas should be higher than Harden offensively are complete idiots. Harden is a top 5 player even with his ADD defense.

If anything, Beas has shown he is capable of much, much more consistently across a much longer period of time than D-Mo has ever shown. People forget that D-Mo has never had any meaningful minutes in actual high level games (playoffs). Even T-Jones has more credibility in actually meaningful games despite showing the aptitude of a traffic cone for most of it.

    Seems insulting to traffic cones
