After Miller deal and Hoyer impending cut, should have around $18MM. But take into consideration that we need to reserve $5.3MM for the draft pool and about $3-4MM for emergencies... so should have around $10MM to spend. And that is without any restructures or anything.

Re-signing a few of our guys (Grimes, Bouye, etc.) will cut that number down to about 7 million, I presume.

Just enough to go after a tight end?

Plenty of money to sign Mike Wallace and nab Martellus Bennett assuming we cut Hoyer

Seriously that would be great. I've met Martellus on numerous occasions when he was on the Cowboys & stayed in touch years after. He's' always wanted to play here in Houston if the situation was right.

No, everything is updated except for Miller, Bergstrom, and Pleasant. Miller and Hoyer numbers should approximately cancel out, so we will actually be closer to $15MM total.

Not sure if still available, but what about Russel Okung and Eric Weddle?

Both available, both very likely out of price range.

Not enough capspace. We have to allocate at least 5 mill for the rookie class.

We also cannot sign way too many long-term contracts with Hopkins impending contract on the way

I have a feeling Cushing will be sacrificed next year along with a few others, for Hopkins new deal.

    Unless we win it all.

We can get OLB in 2nd/3rd Rd who could be dynamic. Maybe.

I like Tyler Matakevitch around the third round, as well. Not great measurabkes, but someone who is just everywhere on tape.

Walter Thurmund? Really hoping for Bennett and/or Kearse, but I would rather get TE or WR in draft and get OL and S in FA since they can come in and play quicker... ESPN has us in top 3 FA winners so far

Can you tell him the situation is right now so he can go ahead and come down to Houston?
