Tonight the Turnaround Begins, Rockets Flip the Switch

ok, jbb... i will hold you accountable on this one, starting tonight.

for now, i'll just call you crazy. :grin:

 

I will believe it when I see it. Can't buy after what I have seen for 55 games. If we are really going for the ring, we should have gotten some additional firepower.

It will be intersting if this team does go say 13-2 over the next 15 games.

Not saying it will happen but I guess there is a shot at it.

Those last 12 games would be crucial it would give the team some hope that they could win 50 games this year.

I'll say this if the team does go 23-4 heading into the payoffs I'll give them a dark horse shot at upsetting the big dogs in GS and SA. We'd be the hottest team heading in the post season it would also restore harden and howards reputations, which we know they care about. Win win for the teams the fans and a big **** you!!! To the media.

If Lawson and Smith play at their max potential and Howard/Harden click, and the team starts playing for one another *cough GSW play for each other* then yeah... it can happen.

 

It's hard to give up something your not getting.... Lol

 

We used to be able to think that DMO could come back and be a catalyst. Not saying our rebounding or even defense would improve but that we could become more versatile.

Remove DMO and Thornton. I don't see this improving the defense and I don't see it improving the offense.

Hoping we drop out of the playoffs and get the 11th or so pick. Detroit flops and gives us #12.

 

I like the positive outlook but I just cannot get excited about this team. I will still watch every game, though.

 

One last chance to JBB...

 

There's two scenarios that I see happening to finish out the year:

1) The Rockets have a few good games in a row together where they get hot and we stumble into the playoffs as a barely above .500 6-8th seed, or

2) The Rockets continue on their current trajectory and miss the playoffs by a game or two.

 

Sounds good. Incoming 3 game win streak followed by a 4 game losing streak. Rinse, repeat until we barely make the Playoffs.

 

Why stop there? This team can win every game and break the longest win streak

 

So what happens if we lose to the pathetic Suns tonight?

 

I agree! This team has too much potential. Wish we didn't get rid of Thornton, but whatever. We can do it!

Like McHale said, Dwight will forget it in 5 minutes and you can probably find James in the strip club within 10 minutes after the game.

 

I guess you have never watched the Rox this season playing against the Nuggets and the Nets.

 

Not sure if there will be a turnaround, but I will say this. It's got to be a more positive than negative feeling that you no longer have trade rumors tied around your name until the end of the season. Trade deadline is over and done with.
