Zach Lowe said on today's podcast that Detroit is "hot on Motiejūnas" this summer, when he becomes free agent.

anyone with a brain could have understood that the reaston Tellem didn't give Drummond the extension was to sign a pf. And it will be with a good chance one of the Rockets pf.

But anyway if DMO can't get back on the court by the end of the ASW and play consistently then he won't get a good contract. Which raises the possibillity depending on his character his confidence and his agent if he's willing to take the qo. It happens extremely rarely and he's not a high pick but he has had very bad timing with this injury.
He could be going from a near max contract of 17-18 million to a low ball offer of lets say 10 million if he can't prove he's back 100% and the teams will be very hesitant to invest so much money on him.

D-Mo isn't that good. His post game is all he has. It can keep him in the league for a while, but how can you measure his worth when he's hurt all the time?

Man this thread reads so much faster if you have Bobbythegreat/bballhollic on ignore , now if there was only a way to prevent me from seeing it when ppl quote him we'd be set ....

That being said , any legit news about Dmo and his current injury situation ? Hopefully he can come back stronger and quicker on defense this time around . He was getting manhandled way more than last year when he first got back , some of that was probably rust , but some of it looked like pure strength issues too .

As of now Boban MarJanovic has more potential than DMo.

It's very unlikely for there to be news before the 15th, that's always what we've been waiting for.

It'd all depend how his physicals look, unless it's an ongoing problem that shows up red flags or he refuses to take one, it's unlikely to impact his contract much if at all.

His back was getting fatigued and was hurting because the muscles aren't strong enough yet so he's rehabbing them trying to build that up to where it needs to be.

He had a setback during his rehab. Seems he may have started playing too soon or too much. Other than that, there's nothing beyond conspiracy theories.

He also has a solid 3-pt shot and very underrated defense when he's healthy.
