    So has David Ortiz. :D

BTW Behad, Danny Kolb's save last night is not showing on our score page. I should currently have a 2 point lead. We're going to have one hell of a finish to this game.

First of all, we must ask "What the hell is Milwaukee doing with so many save opportunities?".

I see he is missing a save. Let's watch it, and if it's not fixed by tomorrow, I'll email Fanstar.

Also, Woody Williams is being charged with 2 losses. He only pitched once so far this week. His next start is Saturday (I think).

That 5 points may make a difference in the outcome of this game against chrisjent (yeah right)

What a pathetic performance from my pitching staff this game. They better straighten out or heads are gonna roll!!!!

Williams pitched an inning in relief on Wednesday and blew the game for the Cards. That's why he has two losses this week.

    Crap, crap, crap !@#%^^%%^

Well, there goes my slim chance of winning. Pimp, it shows my team up by 14, but that save by Kolb is not on there yet. Of course, it was a 15 point save, so my last shot at taking the division was lost......by one friggin point.

    I hate this game.....

    [vent]

Ya know, this is the third season in a row that my team started off bad, lost a bunch up front, then had a strong second have to finish in the middle of the pack.

Why the hell can't they start strong for once? This baseball team started the season 1-6, then 3-11, but since then I'm 18-11, for a .621 winning percentage. If I had a .621 for the season, I'd be at 27-16 and 3 games in first place instead of three back.

    Aaarrgh!

I emailed Fanstar to get them to update the results. They must be busy with football right now.

The last thing fade and I discussed yesterday was the use of his pitchers and the remaining pitcher games he has left. I suggesting not using Andy Pettitte on Friday to save a game because he was facing Pedro and the Red Sox. fade said to play him, that he was not afraid to put his starters up against anyone.

fade, if that -13 Pettitte scored last night comes back to haunt us, don't blame me.:)

Week 44 scores and results are fixed. The Skulls season hopes are dashed by a one point loss to the Hitmen.

    Danny Kolb, you suck!

And now, as my hitters valiantly try to hold on as my pitchers sit and watch the Pythons defeating us, I have but one glimmer of sunshine in this depressing day:

BobFinn now has the low week score of the season...a whopping 30 points!:p

    Touche'

Funny thing, if fade had stuck with the lineup I put in there on Friday morning, he'd be ahead by 4 points, with Zito, Ponson, and Hampton still to pitch against 0 starters left for PSJ.

As it is, those three should be able to make up 15 points.
