    with .4 seconds left and up 4 you would not even have to play defense, you could stand under your own basket while the other team attempts their play, dude was thinking too hard

    True, but you might have someone like Javale Mcgee against you and he might do something stupid.

    I cannot fault someone for trying to win even though the odds are against him.
