The way you worded this makes it sounds like you are someone who hasn't watched him play all season, lol.

just checked his shot charts. if he ever had a corner 3, which i've heard a lot of from this site, it has been gone for years.
other than the playoffs, for the past 3 seasons his corner 3 has been awful or borderline average. fortuneately he runs the break as well as anyone and is a great cutter.
even if we keep him, he can still be an ok role player if this team plays nba level basketball

corner 3 numbers from last years regular season and playoffs (scroll down to shot area)

Brewer is basically the ultimate frontrunner. He can really help in curbstomping a bad team when his teammates are playing well enough that he doesn't have to create shots or defend one-on-one. He doesn't have the fundamentals to be a good player every night. Although sometimes he just catches fire, as in the playoffs last year.

I like the guy, I honestly do - but you can't rely on him as your only primary backup wing. It's good we have Thornton to temper some of Brewer's insanity.

    j-smoove's airballs = chris carter's strikeouts
    chris carter home run = j-smoove 3!
