Seriously all these teams are playing the Rockets, who have a 5-9 record and are 13th place in the Western conference. None of these teams are playing against a real contender in these games.


wed Nov 25th vs Memphis (A contender would have a legit starting PF. Look for Zach Randolph to go buck-wild against the non-contending Rockets)

Fri Nov 27th vs Philadelphia (look for Philly to pick up its first win here)

Sun Nov 29th @ New York (Knicks to show the Rockets what a real contender's team chemistry looks like)

Mon Nov 30th @Detroit (With a record 1 game above .500, the Pistons are a lot closer to contention than the Rockets)

Wed Dec 2nd vs New Orleans (Rockets sure would be a lot closer to contention with Sam Dekker replaced by Omer Asik. The vaunted pelicans pick turned out to be worthless)

Fri Dec 4th @Dallas (Did we really kick Parsons to the curve to give albatross contracts to Brewer and Beverly? Not like we could use another shooter right now or anything to help make us a real contender)

Sat Dec 5th vs Sacramento (Kings looking to break the tie for sole possession of the coveted 12th place in the western conference and place the world on notice that they are closer to being a real contender than the Rockets)

Tue Dec 8th @Brooklyn (The nets aren't real contenders but the Rocket sure make them look like they are)

Wed Dec 9th @Washington (I'm not even going to write anything about this uncompelling matchup)

Sat Dec 12th vs Los Angeles Lakers (Rockets trying desperately to show the world they're still on the Lakers level)

Mon Dec 14th @Denver (Can we give Ty Lawson back to them?)

Tues Dec 15th @Sacramento (By now expect the Kings to be firmly entrenched in the 12th position and the Rockets to be looking up at them in the standings)

Thu Dec 17th @LALakers (By this point, I fully expect the Lakers to have overtaken the Rockets, having gotten to pad their schedule twice by playing the Rockets (who aren't real contenders) in the last few games)

Sat Dec 19th vs LA Clippers (The proof is in the pudding about who the real contender in this matchup is- Josh Smith left to chase a ring and play for a real contender)

Mon Dec 21 vs Charlotte (now that the Bobcats are gone this team is channelling the memories of Alonzo Mourning and Larry Johnson twin towers . . . the Hornets are much closer to being a real contender than the Rockets. We need retro uniforms back to be real contenders.)

Wed Dec 23 @ Orlando (Dwight to reminisce about his days playing for a real contender when he actually made it to the NBA finals)

Fri Dec 25th vs San Antonio (Lamarcus Aldridge vs. Terrence Jones. One team is playing a real contender. The other team is one (hint: the spurs are the real contender))

Sat Dec 26th vs New Orleans (The Rockets aren't the only team who won't be playing against a real contender in this game)

Tue Dec 29th vs Atlanta (Hawks with as many wins as we have losses)

Thu Dec 31st vs Golden State (Warriors out to avenge the one loss in their 4-1 WCF win)
