Almost 50 years worth of Astros voices gone in 2 weeks. Unlike Elston I did grow up listening to Milo. Back in the 90's we didn't have cable so I had to listen to a lot of the games on the radio. RIP
Easily my favorite radio voice of all time Painted the picture of so many of my baseball memories RIP Milo

Holy Toledo, this is so sad. Even sadder that I didn't know that Gene Elston had passed away just a few days ago. I don't really follow baseball anymore, but man, growing up listening to these guys as an Astros fan and also losing Moses Malone the past few days has been really sad.

RIP Milo. I have many fond memories listening too Milo and the Wrangler calling Astros games while I was growing up before we had cable. The city of Houston was blessed to have both Milo Hamilton and Gene Peterson calling their professional sports teams for so many years!!!!
