He really did a great job. His reward should be that... next year he shouldn't even be allowed to participate in the league as a GM, he should be the designated league manager. Nothing more. Stick to the part he's good at.
Crap, I don't know who is left, part of me wants to draft Dirk or Tony just to make Zig happy and have a throw in when I screw him over on a trade, but then again its bad enough I drafted a Warrior, but definitely cannot in good conscience draft a Jazzhole, Mav or Spur (yes Tony is still a Spur).... So I decided to pick someone with a cool name that I can drop alongside Miles Bridges.... I select Mo Bamba! @Plowman finish this thing off.................
Broooo, HE was the one CRYING when y'all got on him about his philosophy on drafting QB's late in that other league. @SamCassell had that man CRYING. ANDDDD, he was the one who used to be in this league, but took his ball and went home. It's not that y'all don't cry too though.
Lulz, I wasn't involved in that and had no knowledge of what went down until you just mentioned it. I mean, he's kind of right? You can wait till late in the draft to find a QB but the problem is choosing the right one. Imagine the difference between the guy that draft Andrew Luck or Kirk Cousins vs. the guy that took Patrick Mahomes in later rounds or got him off the waiver wire. That's besides the point.... my beef was real. How can someone with back-to-back picks get skipped! (I blame this one on you!!!)... and then they all got mad cause I re-drafted Clint Capela. I was literally looking at this (see below) while I was on the road trying to make my picks. Just skip me and move along, the draft isn't ruined and @Rocketball really didn't get **** in his cheerios because he wasn't even close to being up in the draft. Buncha f***in babies!
Yeah, that's the risk of waiting. Moes was the guy who got Cousins and he's 2-3. If he ends up with Mahomes he might have a couple more wins. But then again I picked up James Conner late in the draft and he's been fantastic. With RB injuries (and holdouts) that position is also one you can get lucky on late or even off waivers. Anyway I always like Moes recaps, even when he's very wrong they are still entertaining. Hopefully he reconsiders, but like Zig says he's the one who quit so it seems doubtful. Talking trash and debating who did what is half the fun of the league.
What Moe doesn't realize is that we all read it. That's journalism. He should take it as a sign he's got a good thing going.
