Smart, Orange. Also the answer to your question. Smarts and character are worth the extra money.

Whoever asked - I did hear this on 610. Struck me as a good idea - different than my usual focus on the inside. Rox need shooters, smarts, and character. Being around a strong character, smart guy like Ray Allen would benefit Steve and Posey and whoever else we keep. He gets the Glen Rice role, but can pull it off.

I don't see Milwaukee doing it for EG, Rice and Cat, either, but you never know. I'd make that deal, then MCE a bruiser, or pawn Mooch and Taylor + for an upgrade starter.

Let's see what their next contracts do to 'balance the financial scales'. Ten years a piece and their money differences will probably be a piddling few mil.

Uh, I don't know, went to the Eastern Conference Finals, and one game away from the NBA Finals.

Every team can't win a championship, The Bucks were actually a good team. They ran into chemistry problems.

What about Ray, Cassell, Mason FOR Mobeley, Franchise, Rice..

We get a premier SG, a better passing PG and a bruiser..

For salary cap reasons, we would have to throw in some other contracts anyway. Then you don't look at it like 90/30 anymore.

I love Ray Allen, and this would be a good idea if anyone could somehow convince George Karl and the Bucks to part with their Franchise Player.

Buuuut, I still don't think Cat is our biggest problem. Our forward SUCK! Plain and simple. Last night just reiterated that. Noticed that the Mavs comeback was fueled by their forwards- Dirk and Finley. How they were continuously wide open. And where were Mo and Eddie on the offensive end- no where. Our forward play, other than Posey, is a joke!

I think that's the problem we need to address before we reevaluate Cat's position with the team.

Has Ray Allen signed a recent contract extention? The best information I have is two more seasons after the current for $28.1m. Where did you get $90m?

Man oh man, you guys think you can get anyone. Ray Allen is the core of the bucks, I highly doubt that they'd give him even for Francis muchless Mobley plus any other player.
