    If you've ever been a head ... or if you were ever a Neil Young fan ... and ESPECIALLY if you were BOTH!
    ... sit down ... I've got fantastic news ... IMO anyway.

    Always been a big hole in my life that Neil Young's 'On the Beach' was never released on CD. Spent many a night years ago body-rushing to 'For the Turnstiles' and 'Ambulance Blues' on vinyl - *sigh* - anyway ... I think it was a part of Neil's Geffen records spat or something that kept this incredible music from all our CD collections. I threw Zuma on my Discman after the Mavs/Spurs game and got curious if I could find some sorta updated reason/news about 'On the Beach' at a Neil site or a music forum or a newsgroup. I started at CDNOW.com, luckily, and found that a remastered version is due for release June 24th, 2003 and pre-sale orders are being taken!! Very nice. Just a heads up if you've suffered similar pains lo these many years since vinyl ruled.
