Both my daughters (one in HS, one in JHS, the HS one takes calculus) use the TI 84 Plus Silver editions. Their schools specifically didn't allow the TI-89 (I don't remember if the Nspire was allowed or not). I understand some universities don't allow the TI-89 either, so if this is needed for school use you probably want to check.
